“Beginning June 2018, the New York City Housing Authority will introduce a new enforcement service for parking lots at NYCHA developments called “Self-Release Booting.” Although cars may still be towed, this new approach will help NYCHA residents with parking permits by reducing the number of vehicles parked illegally.”
